Set Up Telvis IPTV onMAG and Portal Decoders

Add the Telvis portal name and the portal address supplied for your MAG or portal-based decoder. Confirm the MAC address privately with support.

Keep your welcome message nearby and enter every detail exactly as supplied. If a step fails, stop and contact support rather than installing a second player on top of the first.

Getting ready

Before You Begin

You will normally need:

  • An active trial or subscription
  • Your username and password
  • The complete server address supplied with your account
  • A stable internet connection
  • Enough free storage to install or update the app
  • Permission to install apps on the device

Keep your account details private. Support may ask for your username or an error screenshot, but never post your password publicly.

Main setup

MAG and Portal-Based Decoder Setup

  1. Open Settings, System Settings or Servers on the device.
  2. Find Portals and enter the portal name Telvis.
  3. Enter the portal address supplied specifically for the device.
  4. Confirm the device MAC address privately with support if account linking is required.
  5. Save the settings and restart the device.

Do not post the portal address, MAC address or account details publicly. Portal information must be supplied or confirmed by Telvis support before this setup method can work.
